You'll never be short of interesting walks, lovely vistas and great neighbours to chat with. Here is the rare "Birkdale" model, a spacious 1803 sq ft on a larger than usual strata lot well away from traffic noise. Well maintained, this home features wide halls with easy access to all rooms. Heating is by natural gas with 2 gas fireplaces. The huge kitchen with Island and eating nook has lots of room in all seasons for coffee or wine gatherings with a lovely formal dining room right next to it currently in use as the jigsaw puzzle room! Put your own touches on this and all spaces as you view in person or browse the video and photos here. The formal south facing, light filled living room is also a super family and friends entertaining space. ABOUT ME:
Carol Riera - REALTOR®, B.ED., M. of Applied Linguistics
Born and raised in Vancouver, Carol has lived in three provinces, travelled extensively and is fluent in both French and English. Carol worked in Education for more than 20 years, teaching every grade from preschool to the college level. She is known for her involvement in community activities, her attention to detail and her customer service skills.
Always looking for new challenges, Carol embarked on a Master's of Linguistics with the University of Nottingham in 2011. When deciding to return to beautiful, BC, Qualicum Beach was an easy choice for Carol and her husband, Bruno Sterckeman, as it was a return to family and a milder climate. In order to make the move, and encouraged by her sister, Carol enrolled in the Sauder School of Business at UBC to study Real Estate Trading Services.
Throughout her varied career, Carol has always enjoyed serving others, organizing many cultural and humanitarian trips as a teacher and is now happy to support the Children's Miracle Network as a REALTOR® at RE/MAX Anchor Realty. Her greatest asset is her outgoing and warm personality which helps her develop long-term relationships with others. Licensed in 2016, Carol feels blessed to have recently joined her sister Cindy Riera, PREC. Now when clients call Carol or Cindy they get two passionate, hard-working REALTORS® working for you as one. Carol and Cindy allow you to have trust and confidence in experienced representation!
